What is “Un-fluencing” anyway? I want you to buy less, and do more. I believe there is beauty in the imperfect. I believe in radical adornment and self-expression. I also believe in good lighting, knowing your best angles, and a solid photo edit.
I reject the idea that you need to be young or thin or rich to be relevant. There are 60 million Americans between the ages of 41-56, and we are fucking cool! We climbed trees and used paper maps and dated without WiFi. We hitchhiked and moshed and wrote ‘zines. And then we invented social media, sorry not sorry.

At the age of 12, I had a traumatic photography session that left me feeling so awkward and ugly that I avoided being in front of a camera for decades. In the last few years, I began to take self portraits as a healing exercise in self-acceptance, and I finally became able to take joy in the outward manifestation of my inner self.
